Thank you Mr. Giroux. Now we get to see how the worst Flyers management I’ve unfortunately watched since 1973 handles the trade option. Frankly I’d rather get nothing (or re-sign him) and mess up other teams Cup chances then make a stupid trade that marginally ‘improves’ the team. This team is going nowhere for the next 4-5 years so a marginal return accomplishes little.
Giroux has two very good years at 70+ points left in him for sure with any contender as a 2C. He could pick where he wants to play as a coveted free agent. I prefer that to a lousy trade…unless it finally gets Mr. Fletcher fired.
