I honestly think the Ducks are a lot more likely to get past the Avs than we are, and potentially clear a path to the WCF for us. They’re young and hungry and naive about their chances: the perfect combination for an upset.
I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but there HAS to be something wrong with the NHL playoff system for us to end up playing EDM yet again. Sigh.
Are we hoping Nashville wins to give us a chance to get into third in our division? Wouldn’t that pit us against the Oilers again? I’d rather see us play against the Avalanche in the first round. Tired of facing the Oilers every year.
