Detroit has the potential to have a goalie of the year nominee at each level below the NHL:
Postava and Cossa in the AHL: Postava was 16-6 with a 1.79 GAA and 0.934 SV%. Cossa is #3 among « Qualified Goalies » with a 26-8-4 record with a 2.28 GAA and a 0.917 SV%.
Trey Augustine in NCAA: 24-9-1 with a 2.11 GAA and 0.929 SV%. Won NCAA Goalie of the Year
Rudy Guimond in QMJHL: 40-7-3 with a 2.27 GAA and 0.922 SV%. #1 in the QJMHL in all categories for a goalie who has played at least half of his teams games.
Michael Pradel in USHL: 16-16-4 with a 2.75 GAA and 0.911 SV%. #4 in the USHL and the 3 above him were on significantly better teams.
