Until his end of season stretch, I think it was almost forgotten how talented this guy is. We are very lucky to have him.

I can’t imagine how absolutely brutal it would be to just up and move to say France as a teenager, not understanding the language at all, and playing a team sport where communication is important. It’s pretty remarkable that he was able to succeed to the level that he did last year. I think the sky’s the limit. It makes me happy to know he’s settling in to life in the USA

I saw the hockey guy say on his preview video that he thinks if Michkov comes to camp in shape and ready to go, he thinks he could be a PPG player next year. That’s pretty big praise from Shannon

Look for a breakout season next year. There’s been other articles that said that he wasn’t a loner, but was alone a lot, and that’s changing. Another season with the same coach (who I initially hated), show up to camp in shape. Oh yeah, and some playoff experience under his belt.
