Makes sense. Weren’t those guys hired by Bannister?
Monty is gonna want to bring in his own guys. And with the constant slow starts, you gotta shake up the coaching staff a bit.

Good. Thanks for all the work, but the team is desperately in need of some new assistant coaches

Not surprised about Julien at all, but I’m a little surprised about Weber. Still, it will be good to get some new coaching blood. I wonder if Ott will be staying in Springfield. I am guessing so, especially since they’ve had success since he’s been there. (I’m just curious; I’m not suggesting they bring him back up to the big club.)

It will be interesting to see who Monty brings in. I believe through out his entire NHL coaching career, he inherited all of his assistants

Monty has never had the chance to pick his own coaching staff. When he was in Detroit he took over the prior coaches staff and he did the same here with banister. Excited to see who he picks to fit his style.

Time for Monty to build his staff with the guys he wants.

Maybe he’ll hire Chief!!!

I’m not sure about Weber being let go. His work with the young Dmen and the PK really turned a corner big time this winter. I understand Monty wants to pick his own staff, but I fear we’ve cut off something that was starting to work.
