This is honestly a pretty good presser by JR. Would recommend people listen to it in full if they have the time.
So far, it’s looking like the players we’ve received from the Wild are going to be useful players on ice, *and* we still have a first round pick from them. Let’s hope Dallas takes them out of the first round

Canadian teams need to stop drafting Americans and making them Captains. credit to the Montreal Canadiens – they picked elite Americans in Hutson and Caufield who are obviously leaders on the team but the C, As and backup As are all Canadians.

Rutherford was effectively the GM the entire time, and Allvin was mostly there to take his calls, return messages, do the travel for scouting, and get him his morning coffee.

Rutherford is very good at manipulating the truth to make it seem like he’s the genius that saw everything coming before anyone.

I’m starting to feel disillusioned with JR, I thought he was a straight shooter but this spin he’s trying to put on Hughes leaving creates more questions than it answers.
