  1. This guy was incredible this year, slow start and tough end but this team rode and relied on him to much. He was the reason we had something to talk abt. Thnx gibby

  2. Gibby carrried this team for 3 months lol

    Literally vezina level performance

But these other guys couldn’t score enough to get him more wins

    Thanks Gibby

  3. What's funny to me is how the players and coach talk about all the games they should've won but lost. Yet they never talk about all the games they won but should've lost. And it was because of Gibson standing on his head and stealing games. The Red Wings aren't a good team. Gibson made them look better than they really are. He played too many games and McLellan burnt him out playing him every other night. When Gibson stopped being Superman surprise, surprise the Red Wings stopped winning games. It's not Gibson's fault the Red Wings have a pop gun offense with no scoring depth.

  4. the reason this team keeps wiping out coaches/rosters & failing is because they're trying to build on a weak foundation.  Larkin is not a leader or captain material at all.  Trade that clown and start a proper rebuild

  5. Thanks for the excellent season after you settled in, Gibby! As much as I love Alex Lyon, Gibby is the best goalie we've had since Jimmy Howard! Finally we have a true starter. It better be him and Cossa next year

  6. Shortest one of these I’ve seen so far today. Mature.

He was clearly the single best contributor on the squad this year.

    Pray he comes back hungry!

  7. Press was scared of him, clearly. Almost no questions. And frankly he doesn't deserve to be the one getting bombarded. He did the best of anyone on the team.

  8. Gibson was our 2nd most valuable player after DeBrincat. A bad first month and a not really stellar last month kept him from being the MVP. As for the Wings Yzerman must find a way to sign a quality A level forward-center without going the trade route. He must overpay and the Detroit $8 million ceiling is no where near adequate to bring someone here. Our group of already signed $8 million players must accept a much larger contract for a Q. Hughes or A.Mathews type. Maybe we’ll get lucky again and find Hughes wants to come to Detroit next year.

  9. Hope to count on you same but different next season
    Get job John
We have to take to get anything in Detroit but we really are all about winning
