I’ll never understand MN sports fans’ obsession with mediocrity or being “good enough.”
I want to win the fucking championship. Period.
That said, I understand it’s a journey.
So if this happened and it caused us to resign Hughes (well… gave him confidence to stay) and then brought in one more missing piece (a real center) next year and we improved, I’d be fine.
But if we did the typical MN thing of claiming moral victory and then just riding that next year, then I’m out.
