This whole situation screams lost organization. A LOT still needs to be fixed, certain players need to either figure it out or be dealt.
If the owner can't see how his approach got them here the Franchise is lost.
A clean start with new leadership that isn't meddled with is the only way out other than selling.
WHY NOT PUT THE PLAYERS NAMES UP WHEN ASKING QUESTIONS!!! PRAY we get the #1 Pick this offseason is the only way we really start to rebuild this team.

EP40 just said Vancouver is home and he wants to stay. If any one of these media members continue to hound him they need to be fired.
Organization is beyond repair
The Vancouver Canucks have dysfunctional ownership, dysfunctional management, and no dedicated practice facility.
They are not a serious NHL franchise, nor are they owned, managed, or operated by serious people.
Congratulations on all the best not easy to own a team like Vancouver especially with owners that have a lot on their plate

The worst part is Demko speaking sounds like a loop for the past 5 years..I have no hope he will comeback. He tried this whole approach going into last season.. it didn't work.
Knowing that Hughes was never going to stay and Rutherford believes he won't be the last to go to their birth country why draft anybody but Canadians? Having the fewest Canadians on the roster earns you the 32nd overall so why keep failing by drafting and trading for Americans and Euros?

Owners have a lot on their plate?! What a joke! The owners are the reason this was THE WORST Canucks season ever… worse than the Keenan/Messier years! This team will FOREVER be doomed with the current ownership. I've been watching or listening to this team for 40 years (since 81/82)… most every game… every year. This season… I watched maybe 6 games.
Home games won…9. 27 losses. 5 OTL. Are you kidding me? Who's paying for this crap. I cancelled my seasons until they prove it's worth our money and that means rebuild. Rebuild on your own dime though. I'll come to some games to show my support but I'm done paying more for less.
Please for the love of the franchise, sell the team! Nobody in this city likes the ownership group and specifically Francesco
If the players had any confidence left, it disappeared with this process of media accountability. The terms thrown around like "Fell apart" "Imploded" I mean. This from a group that thinks they are above any personal accountability.
Until this team is sold it will continue to be a clown show, ownership is the NUMBER ONE reason this team.has sucked for so long.

One of the worst end-of-season pressers by a POHO in team history. Even though Alvin was fired, he was the fall guy. Ownership will never see a cup in their lifetime.
As crappy as this season was and how easy it could've been to just criticize JR, you can't because the man holds himself accountable and was already in agreement with all of the shortcomings he is being accused of. Super honest guy, incredibly considerate and well spoken and very respectable about answers that may be alluding to people who he thinks could be negatively affected by his answers and its hard to hate the man.
My takeaway is that I am really glad the guys finally purged the toxicity that has been brewing in that locker room since, forever… and are now finally, FINALLY coming together and genuinely wanting to improve and play better and more importantly, play as a team.
I get that JR wants to give Footy another crack but man, Ryan Johnson as GM and Manny Malhotra to coach the young kids would've been the ideal fresh start rebuild the team needs but, I digress.

Well, that was just 3 years too late… Why hasn't Rutherford stepped down? This was not all Allvin's fault, if any at all… Sacrifical lamb, for certain, unless Rutherford if fired too !!
( Or did they just worry if Canucks won the lottery, Allvin would draft Berglund over Gavin? ) What a JOKE this whole team, from ownership to players who can't play nice together, is…. The whole system is kindergarten playground level crap !!! And PEOPLE KEEP BUYING TICKETS to games, buying jerseys, paying for concessions, all of it, CONTINUING to prop up this horrible team and its management…. So, STOP blaming Aquilini ownership, until YOU FANS can STOP handing him $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$…. Why should anything change at all, when he keeps making money? It's ON YOU, FANS.
