sid and geno still have a lot left in the tank. they are looking good. sign geno for 2 years. extend sid. They are going to the playoffs this year, maybe a cup, but NEXT year, build around the team in the off season and we can win a cup for sure in 2027

I'm a Penguins fan….It is insane to me that people are saying "Dubas did a great job this year'….you do know this roster was worst than last year….you literally had half the team have career years…that is more luck than anything. It was a bunch of guys who couldn't make other teams rosters on short contracts that could be traded….if anyone should get flowers it's Dan Muse…this roster sucked, it's easy to say now 'this roster is great'….99/100 people looked at this roster at the beginning of the year and said it sucked. So I mean, even as a Pens fan, I know if you repeat this year 10 times, only once would they finish like this.
I'm from theBurgh and think it is a charming notion to think they will retire in unison. All 3 are wearing out at different degrees and in different ways. they could retire in 3 different ways, Example: Letang could retire at the end of this season, Sid could play 2 more years, Malkin could play one more year but for a different team. I think the Pens have a big problem with their D..I think they could win the first round, but am not expecting more..but what a great surprise this team was this year..people were not expecting anything
