I remember being a kid in the mid 90s. One night I was up late, had to have been past midnight. I flipped the television to MTV and they were playing Akira. I specifically remember this was the first real Anime I’d ever seen in my life. Not only that, I was astonished because I didn’t know that cartoons could be so…so fucking extreme?
Anyway; that was always a formative moment when I look back on it.
Thanks to you, I was able to relive that brief moment in time all over again.
