Wouldn’t veleno be more valuable for his defensive capabilities than kapanen on that 3rd line?

  3. PermissionPast853

The day Demidov gets linemates that match his talent, we win the cup. I don’t hate Texier, Newhook, Kapanen, but Demidov is already WAY better than them and he deserves to be properly surrounded.

Wellz Hutson was on the Left for about a day in practice, it was good while it lasted

  5. I don’t mind the forwards lines. It seems balanced.

Hutson playing on his off side and the Strubble/Xhekaj pairing is what might cost us the series.

  6. Hutson back on his off side and Carrier first pair. God help us

Man that defense of ours is going to get railed. I hope I am wrong though

I can’t believe MSL is rolling with Struble-Xhekaj, especially at Tampa. Theyll get caved in, get benched and he’ll have to overplay the other ones. I don’t understand why he doesn’t give Reinbacher a shot. Surely, he’s not worse than Xhekaj.

I guess the defense will suck anyway with Dobson out. It’s all on Dobes

I’m glad they’re dressing an enforcer.

That Evans Danault Anderson line is going to be relied on a lot. I worry about the middle six. I think that’s where the series will play out. If we can’t get contribution from the middle six, it’s going to be tough to win.

If that bottom pair gets wrekt first game I would love to see them give Reinbacher a shot

Without Dobson this D core is suspect against a heavier team. Hutson playing on his off side is not ideal. I think Hutson worked well with Struble, should go back to that.

Holy smokes these takes are mental. Go out and touch grass.

  14. grimandnordic1

Strub-Xhekaj is going to have some many goals against but at least they’ll give out just as many black eyes

I really want to see playoff Gallagher, but at the same time, there’s no one I’d really remove for him. Maybe Dach, if he doesn’t step up after a couple of games?

  16. WhiteLightning416

I’d have Veleno with Evans and Danault for a highly defensive line, then put Anderson with Kapanen and Dach for a more physical line.

Reading this thread tells me the game day threads are going to be absolutely moronic.

  18. Just once I want to see Matheson and Guhle together.

Instead of guiding players to the outside with his footspeed, Matheson can guide them towards Xhekaj. For entertainment.

  19. PsychoDrifter

Zharovsky with Demidov and Hage is going to be one hell of a “second line.”

  20. Well happy to see the positivity is alive and well in this thread. FFS.

Un trio étanche! Avec le mandat de neutraliser le trio de kucherov.

What a reliable shutdown line. Perfect for countering Hagel, Point and Kucherov.

We’ll be winning faceoffs like crazy too lol

    I lined the 70s line a LOT.

    Bolduc 76 – Evans 71 – Dach 77

    Bolduc – Kapanen – Dach

Kapanen has the knack for scoring CLUTCH goals when we are behind to tie it up. This line poses some defensive risks, but has a LOT of upside.
