@Canucks de Vancouver

Good vibes are a great place to start. You’ve either got them or ya don’t!

BIG mistake if they let douglas walk and don’t sign any “tough” guys in free agency

I really like Douglas. Seems like a solid guy and a great teammate.

  4. I’ve been wanting a guy like Douglas on the team for a while. Someone who isn’t hesitant to « enforce ». I’d really like it if we bring him back on a fair deal. I think he’s young enough where he can continue to develop his game further

Yeah this is a guy you need, you don’t see players that excited for someone’s first goal without them being a tremendous locker room guy. Hope he gets resigned.

  6. There’s really no downside in bringing Douglas back again. Give him a 2-year deal and let him have some security, protect the young guys and bring some good vibes to the team.

  7. He should be signed ASAP. Team has needed someone exactly like that for a while.

I see the day of an enforcers coming back, and I feel that it is become necessary. Team stars have become target practice for lesser quality players.

That’s exactly what the team needs. Since Douglas joined, we seem to be playing with more of an edge. Plus, he’s chipped in a couple points and seems to not be a liability like a like of enforcer types are.

I have yet to see a stupid penalty from Douglas. Zero running around. Zero drama.

  11. I haven’t seen enough of him to say he is better than any of the other ‘enforcers’ in the league but if his teammates like him and he is a good guy in the room, give him a contract.

New shiny giraffe 🤩 to love. Would love to see what our development staff can do with him to keep him in the line up.

  13. It was what we were missing earlier. Sign this giy

After a season like that, this kinda thing is just what we needed to hear.

YES! This is culture. This is JR talking about how close this group is!

Easy sign doesn’t hurt to keep him if he hurts the other teams

He grows mullets for mental health awareness and has fought Tom Wilson and Darnell Nurse. A B line straight into any Canucks fan’s heart.

I think Alvien has made some good moves like this one. Not sure the fall should have been pinned on him but I suppose someone needed to take it.
