Et curieusement, je suis vraiment excité par ça. J’espère vraiment que les Canucks réussiront bien dans leur reconstruction, mais en tant que nouveau fan du Wild, j’ai hâte que la deuxième saison commence. Allons-y les garçons !

Same. These past few years of being a Canucks fan have been brutal. Just sheer incompetence. Like the GM KNEW Quinn was leaving yet signed players as if a rebuild wasn’t imminent. Horvat should have stayed over JT, I could go on and on.
Then you see how damn cheap the owners are, no practice facility… yet the Mammoth already have a state-of-the-art 2 rink facility just for practices. I hope it works out in Vancouver… but I just can’t anymore with them.
Was sad about the trade first because 43 should be retired by the Canucks. But couldn’t be happier now cuz MIN is such a good fit for Q. I’m not even nervous about the playoffs rn truly think Q will bring home the Cup(s) like he did the Olympic Gold
Big Nucks fan my whole life. I’ve tried to root for other teams before but never really could. This Wild team with Hughes is the first time I’ve been able to be excited for another team heading into the playoffs.
So stoked I get to watch some playoff hockey with purpose again!
Just be prepared for a heartbreak like all (men’s) MN sports fans. We tend to do well, and then drop the ball when it matters most. (Obviously we all hope that doesn’t happen, but we’re used to it)

It’s a weird feeling as a Minnesotan, to have a team so good that it’s drawing in new fans. Lots of Hughes/Canucks people who want to see their boy shine, people who saw Hughes, Faber, and Boldy in the Olympics, and many others just picking a wagon team because their home team is out.
