Tu sais quoi ? Je lui souhaite le meilleur. Peut-être que le karma peut s’équilibrer dans le monde et qu’il peut avoir une carrière phénoménale, et Brady Martin aussi. On peut espérer, non ?

Although I know for a fact if we would have drafted him it would have been people complaining it wasn’t a center.
I’m not giving up on Martin yet, obviously though it doesn’t look great early.
Martin played three games with heavily sheltered minutes early in the season mostly as a center. Playing center is more demanding than playing wing. Martone also had a whole season to develop further in the NCAA before making his NHL debut. Martin has been dealing with lingering effects of getting injured at the WJC. It will be at least a couple of years before you can meaningfully compare the two.

Y’all… Martin played like, 4 or 5 games when we were deadass at our worst. He’s looked incredible with the Greyhounds and played phenomenally during Worlds. Good lord

We all know in the immediate Martone is outperforming Martin (and may outperform him his entire career). It’s not news. So can we stop with these posts? They’re just bemoaning something that can’t be changed and the GM who made the pick is on the way out anyway.
