If it’s true and who knows because of the source; an issue is no one seems to want to trade at any real fair market value with Toronto. I don’t know if it a lack of respect for the front office or maybe it has nothing to do with them and people simply know a trade with Toronto is under a microscope. Either way you need to have someone there who has the respect of the other GMs or you’re never going to be able to make any kind of a reasonable deal with anyone outside of San Jose.
