if specifically the 12th place team (new jersey) wins the first draw, they move to 2nd overall. the canucks get locked into first overall. if calgary wins the next pick, they move up to third. this same logic is why theres a lot of teams with a very low probability of third overall

If #12 wins the lottery the most they can go up is 10 spots and they take #2. The second lottery ball is drawn for pick #3

The last 20 or so games were so frustrating. I just wanted then to lose. We could have been 2nd last lol.

35% chance we pick top 4. But…I know how this goes, we’re picking 6th.
I fully expect well pick 5th or 6th and get a very good player who’s enough to build on and make playoffs, but not a genuine 1C or top line driver and well get stuck in the same cycle of “almost good enough” we just spent 20 years in.
