It’s probably because I’m old, but I’ll always see either Bill LaForge or Messier as the low point. But this season and this ownership are very close.

I made the argument that 1999 was the lowest. But even then, 9 wins at home. That’s embarrassing.

Let’s just be glad we’re rebuilding with two strong draft years coming this and next year.

I think as Shannon in this video said the Canucks need to ensure that apathy doesn’t take over when it comes to the fanbase. When the fanbase is angry and not happy, it shows that they care. If apathy takes over, it means the fans are tuning the team out and aren’t listening to what the team is saying or doing. I heard plenty of stories of the team having to hand out free tickets. I got free tickets as well. The Canucks have to show that they are serious about doing this rebuild properly. They have to show that things will actually be different in order to avoid the apathy taking over.

Not as depressing as Keenan/Messier era.

No, the lowest point will be if they exit the rebuild early, again.
That will give me no hope for the franchise.

Tbh I think last year was the low point. We’re finally getting the rebuild we so needed after all this time and we cut off any sense of that team from the last few years even having any chance of being proper contenders when it’s been made clear how horrid the entire room was.
