This and the Geno « oh my arm » are going to be the story of this series. They see their time is fading and will do anything that they can to keep their junk in the network fangirls mouths every night.
IF the NHL wants to expand and really change they need to send Bettman packing and create a criteria for evaluating the entire officiating staff. The betting culture has created a league where you know how many times a player scratches his nose in a game. The same should be applied to the refs at each quarter of the season. You stay or get reduced to riding a bus between Rochester and Binghamton in November and December. You can become a better ref or go sell insurance in Utica if you dont improve.

And somehow the vast majority of the hockey world sees this as an example of diverboy NOT being protected against « nonstop abuse ». Meanwhile Sanheim barely did anything that would draw a whistle in a preseason game until diverboy had already elbowed him in the face, punched him in the face, and crosschecked him. But Sanheim is somehow their villain for getting slashed between the legs?
I find a couple of things interesting. From the pens perceptive they believe he is doing the right thing….from everyone’s else’s perceptive he is losing his cool. Which he is. In fact I welcome this behavior. This means my flyguys are getting to him and it doesn’t just result in this behavior I hope results in a continuing bad performance in the rest of this series. And dont get me start on our lord and savior (gary bettman)…yes being sarcastic…never have I ever didnt trust or a person as much as him….so yeah dont worry the old baby will be protected and nothing will come of his tantrums. All we can do is put up goals and beat them 4-0 in the series. Then Crosby can go hit ppl with a golf club for all i care. Go flyers!!!!!!
