If I had paid for a ticket to the game tonight I would want my money back. It is one thing to lose it is another thing to lose the way they did.

  2. To watch with 17:00 left as the fans couldn't get out of there fast enough! This is a huge wakeup call…uh oh! The Wild are a serious lode and we just are not prepared! Is what was running through minds of Dallas faithful!

Bill guerin went out and got players that make them super difficult to play against. The shocker was that nobody has seen Minnesota's A Game! So when it hit you…it was like SHOCK AND AWE and It Worked!

  3. The national media talk concerning the Wild is if they can finally get out of the 1st round and I feel like that's just plain lazy talk. That consecutive list consisted of a roster with / without Parise / Suter and their enormous contracts. Minnesota had been making the playoffs WITHOUT those 2 players and WITHOUT the ability to financially replace them until last season. I think it was a pretty good achievement just to make the playoffs with your 2 highest players not even being on the team. Florida (2025 Stanley Cup Champs) lost Barkov and Tkacuk missed more than half of the season, and the Panthers didn't even come close to the playoffs. They had 6 teams between them and the 2nd wild card spot. This Wild team is not going to be comparable to the teams they've had in recent yearsbecause it's a completely different era for them.

  4. The playoffs are about how teams play 5v5 and the Stars have been an average or below average 5v5 team all year. This game was not a complete shock.

  5. Relax fellas!
As a Wild fan we have seen this movie before
I wouldn't be confident if we were up 3 game to none!

  6. Wild fan here. These teams are statistically VERY similar. Before this series started, I said that goaltending was going to one of the hugest factors. The last season match-up a week ago, the Wild far outplayed Dallas, and had it not been for very weak goals allowed by Gus, the Wild would have easily won that game. I was not surprised that they went with Wally, and knew that, if he remained as strong as he finished the season, we would have a very good chance of winning. I hope the Wild can keep up the intensity and handle Dallas as they are forced to adjust their game.

  7. AVS fan here ….imo Dallas is fine….same old same…you will win in 6 or 7. Mikko will be Mikko…..I wish Dallas was panicking but they aren't….they are just getting warmed up. My only slight concern would be Otter…but what's new there too. All is well ….see you soon

  8. Usually the Wild run the power play through the top of the zone. As a Wild fan I haven’t seen that high to low to Ek in the middle in a long time. That was a wrinkle the Wild threw in for the start of the series and the stars definitely weren’t ready for that. I’m sure they’ll have adjustments to it next game though

  9. We have big goals this year was excellent start. Each game needs to be approached same way hammer em til the final second

  10. Wild fan here. It speaks to how good the stars are at coming back (and how good the wild are at blowing leads 🫠) that I didn’t feel truly relaxed until Boldy’s eng. Game 2 is gonna look way different.

  11. Respect…if only they hadn’t left MN in the first place… We could have all rooted for the Stars together. Go Wild, go North Stars!!!!

  12. Wallstedt was the best goalie against the best competition in the league this year. 93.1 save percentage.

  13. The wild at the trade deadline acquired A 4th line for this series that has a 6’6” monster at the center that is a killer on face offs

  14. Oettinger has a history of bouncing back after bad performances. Plus the Wild had an extra day off with their top 10 players getting the last 2 games off altogether. I wouldn't start worrying that the series is lost unless the Stars lose game 2. With that said, Minny has always been a decent team, but remember you're looking at a team many thought was in the top 3 for a large chunk of the year. They didn't struggle to get in like in the past and they have 3 legit superstars with a good goaltending tandem. It wouldn't surprise me to see Dallas bounce back, but I also think Minny is a lot tougher matchup than Stars fans thought, so if they imposed their will on Dallas again, I wouldn't exactly find that shocking either.
