Idk about y’all, but I got really sad watching those Buffalo fans losing their shit last night.

Not hard to see what we’re missing: game breaking talent. Slaf for MTL. Tage for BUF. Yes the draft let us down but Thompson was acquired via trade.
I don’t live there anymore, but I consider myself a New Yorker through and through. I’m happy for Buffalo. I won’t bring myself to root for them. But I am happy for them.
Waiting to hear from the GM after this disaster of a season…..

Watching Jesper Wallstedt start and play well for Minnesota after finishing second in regular season save percentage was interesting. So far it looks like taking Cossa over the unanimous top ranked goalie prospect was quite the move … Still have hope in Cossa and goalies take forever, but wow this stings.
I remember Yzerman took at least a week (maybe almost 2?) after last season concluded to address the media. He won’t give much away, but his answers are usually thoughtful and calculated. I’m interested to hear his thoughts this time around. I’m sure he’s pissed
