    Don’t know if Hedman skating was a sign he’ll replace him but I for one cannot say I’m thrilled at the idea of a Lilleberg-Crozier pairing in a pivotal game

    Apparently Carlile is replacing D’Astous in practice. I thought MTL’s defense was bad with the injuries they have, ours is starting to look the same if not worse. Moser has been bad for weeks now, Raddysh still has lapses defensively, Mistakeberg is still very much prominent. Idk. I’m dooming pretty hard but this D core is not encouraging.

    The number of Habs fans on social media that were shitting on D’Astous for ‘selling the hit’ to get a penalty was astounding. I’ve never seen a team so distraught about the refs in a game **they won** where the penalty minutes and total power play chances were equal.

    Hope D’Astous doesn’t have to miss too much time.

    I’m not happy he’s missing game time, but I don’t think it was a terrible dirty play. He was already knocked off balance by the first Montreal player (can’t remember who it was) and collided unfortunately with Anderson. I don’t think it was an egregious hit.

    I don’t think this is headhunting. It was a penalty and a dangerous play, but intent to injure is unclear, and I certainly don’t imagine D’Astous is necessarily a target compared to FLA with Hagel and then repeatedly attempting to knee Marner and stuff.

    This title is garbage. No one was head hunting. He hit him in the back (albeit on a charge) and D’Astous prob got whiplash getting sandwiched between two guys.

    JFC the playoffs bring out the most reactionary BS from every fanbase.

    I thought last game was a good close match.

    What I hate is the psyop of « well actually the refs clearly favored Tampa » when all they got for injuring two players was a single minor.
