I’m a canes fan and I’m tired of the “we got goalied” narrative. Sadly we just don’t finish huge chances like the rest of the league does. Wide open net? Lemme shoot it center net and let the goalie have a chance. While most other players still aim far side of where the goalie is coming from. Whoever the canes are playing will undoubtedly be at the top or very close to the top of this list. Kills me but sadly I believe this is true. I’d love to be proven wrong.

I wonder if last night was stus first shutout playoff loss. no shade i think hes playing well and the only reason the pens have been competitive

They expected Ullmark to give up 10(almost) goals in 2 games! Then you give him props for only letting in 5. I mean he has seen more shots than any and Carolina is a top team but I would probably give top spot to the goalie with the 27 shot shut out or the goalie with the one goal in a 25 shot game. But I also don’t know how GSAx works and if it really matters

In case anyone isn’t worried about playing the Canes, we have the second best goalie at the moment and are 2-0 on the best goalie.
I’m hoping that continues.

Not putting a ton of stock into this. Skinner has by far been the pens best player. Game 1 Philly could’ve had 7 goals without huge saves by him. He’s the only pen pulling his weight right now.
