Let it go, man. Let’s focus on the future.

  2. Wagglebagga

Pettiness and Canucks fans go hand in hand. Even when the team is a literal dumpster fire.

Born and raised in Vancouver. Dummies like you are why we have a terrible rep as a fanbase. If I’m Quinn I leave no question, simple as that. We’re a joke of a franchise with a meddling owner – why tf would you stay.

How much do I gotta pitch in for a couple ? Looking for a Medium, Large and X-LARGE.

  5. Electronic-Low4510

Canucks fans refuse to give themselves the joy of having good memories. Must taint the past, no looking back except in bitterness.

  6. I understand being mad at Quinn Hughes for not wanting to be on the team anymore, it sucks to be rejected.

We’re really, really acting like bitter exes to a non-flattering degree. At some point you have to move on.

Don’t blame him for leaving the Canucks. But it’s his actions and behaviour after the Gold Medal game that soured my opinion on him.

  8. Please don’t. If anything, make some shirts about Aqualini.

  9. Loud_Examination_138

Hell yes! Hoping wild don’t win this series, maga clown Hughes

Are we being brigaded by Wild fans? Who are all these complete cucks in love with Hughes? This is sports… people are allowed to be angry at players. Stop simping for him.

Quitt Hughes is the worst captain we’ve had since Messier. Absolutely gave up on this team and this city despite being captain and the entire city and team wanting him to stay. We would have wrote him a blank cheque.

Then he goes and pulls that white house nonsense? FUCK HUGHES. Zero integrity and character.

Some people let multi-millionaire athletes live rent free in their minds and it shows.

I think they’d be better with four images to give context.

Image 1: him hustling after the puck.
    Image 2: him slowing up
Image 3: him just before it goes in as he’s reaching for it
Image 4: him crashing into the boards

Do it like a comic storyboard.

  13. So unfair, Hughes makes millions of dollars and still gets to live in your head rent free.

  14. Beneficial-Muffin117

Why does this crap still get posted

Find a hobby omg he moved on why can’t we

  15. CreativeDeparture104

you guys are really pathetic. He does not think about you.

  16. Perfect shirt. Embrace the hate that is Quitt Hughes.

  17. DavieStBaconStan

Show me you aren’t over getting dumped instead of telling me….

  18. JimRarelyReddits

He’ll pull a Messi and not show up

One can say, since he’s more loathed right now, its Messi-er … I’ll show myself out …

I seriously do not get the Quinn Hughes hatred. He was the best dman and possibly the best player our franchise has ever had. He dragged this team behind him for years. He only let his foot off the gas a little bit at the end when the writing was on the wall. He may not have been the best captain, but there are so many characters in this story that are more guilty than Quinn for how things have gone. Being outwardly spiteful towards him feels like we are a crazy ex-girlfriend. If we had competent ownership and management in place things wouldn’t have gone this way and he’s probably still be here. Honestly at this point escaping this mess is what I’d like to do, it’s a shame that’s not an option for me, but I can’t feel anything but happy for Quinn that he escaped, and we should all be thanking him for what he did during his time here. Our attitude towards him post-trade as a fanbase isn’t doing us any favours with how other players view coming to Vancouver. We aren’t making ourselves attractive. We just look insane.

I’ll be at that game wearing my Quinn Hughes Wild jersey

I don’t hate the guy and I don’t support the T-shirt. He is a gifted and talented Hockey player that is a joy to watch for sure.
However, I lost respect when he gave up. When he accepted the role of team captain to me it also implies that this is where I choose to stay and lead no matter how bad it may get or what it may take. It should be one of the greatest honours in his professional life.
He should have never accepted the role as it now clear that his gift as a player did not transcend to a gift of leadership.
It is clear (to me anyway) that he was seeking personal career ambition and recognition. Rather than stay & tough it out here to lead the Canucks to be playoff contenders he chose to take the shortcut and find a team that could help him achieve his personal goals. Good luck to him with that..
The Canucks culture is changing for the better…
