    Bones was trying to set a tone for next season. I’m glad he did it, but let’s not read too much into it.

    I wish he’d stop talking about it.

    Let it sit and fester in their minds all summer. I want them to fixate on it, to obsess over it. I want them all afraid that they are the one who he was picturing in his head when he unleashed. I want all of them thinking that the guy next to them believes he was talking about them.

    I want them afraid of their spot all summer.

    I do think Don needs to step up and consider making a ton setting move. Whether that’s letting someone like Jenner go, bringing someone in, or trading away a guy everyone thought was untouchable.

    A message needs to be sent from every level of the organization.

    Realistically who could he be referring to? It really seems like the young guys were pissed about the end of the season and some of the Vets pushed back against what Bones said.

    Could it really be that obvious he was talking about the vets?

    I think this rot is deeper than the players.

    Take it with a grain of salt but Mike Commodore was on a podcast the other day and he was talking about how “their AGM, the stats guy” was just hanging out in the locker room getting a massage from the training staff while the players were practicing. I guess it raised some eyebrows because those resources are supposed to be for the players and it’s weird.

    I would guess that’s Flynn they are referring to – they didn’t seem to fight too hard to keep him.
