He has these 5-10 second bursts where he is the greatest player in NHL history. He has to figure out how to make that his default mode.
Tippett’s biggest fault (at least in my eyes) is the lack of finishing touch. It seems he gets a breakaway nearly every game or a clean open look and yet converts so few of those chances. If he converted just a third of those chances he’d be a 40 goal guy.
