Especially the first half of game 1 looked very, very bad for the Habs 5v5. The same problems as all year, except the opposition being slightly harder.
Tampa is not really at all that good (a geriatric house with their tummies & pockets full), but STILL the Habs couldn’t really dominate 5v5

I’m mentally preparing for absolute corrupt penalty calls against us and Sportsnet refusing to acknowledge the bullshit.
Too many of you guys still underrate this roster and believe this series will go the distance. Same doomers that were scared of Tampa in the last game of the season are now telling me to worry about them now. I may be overhyped but I maintain my Habs in 5 and think that anyone that still picks Tampa at this point is delusional, a coward or a Tampa fan. Have some confidence and start seeing this squad as more than inexperience.
I believe we have shown to be the the better, faster, more disciplined and skilled team. I also believe the media is falling into the Cooper trap of blaming it all on silly stupid penalties. Yeah Montreal didn’t play the best game, but we still played an evenly matched game at worst while being shafted by the referees, killing/inverting any potential momentum we could have had early.
First 10 minutes are going to be nuts. Tampa’s season is on the line. Hold!! HOLD!!!
