The issues in the locker room aren't between the the players. There was an issue with the GM the previous season, which I'm not sure has been resolved. By any objective measure, the Rangers and Wolf Pack are in worse shape now than when Chris Drury took over 5 years ago. The main criticism of Sullivan is his reluctance to play the youth, the same as when he was in Pittsburgh.
I'm one of the unlucky people who need double/triple dose of anesthetic as I am naturally tolerant to what they use, xylocaine I think, my face doesn't swell, the worse than can happen is that one side of my mouth will be paralyzed so I'll be talking like Sylvester Stallone for a while if I had a lot of work done on one side. I lost my lifelong dentist in 2023, didn't tell me he was retiring the last time I saw him 2022. Thankful that the run of bad luck I had with cavities for a couple years is over – I never had more than a couple of tiny composite white fillings in a few front teeth and that was it for most of my life until late 30's, but it's been 2 years+ now with nothing, good,because I always have to remind my new dentist that I am naturally tolerant to their anesthetics, I wish we just had dentists that put you to sleep with N2O but unfortunately he told me there's maybe one dentist still doing that here in my eastern canadian town of 150k, it requires extra certifications, guess that's why, the first one I switched to really didn't get it and when I told him my ex-dentist for some particularly sensitive stuff I remember clearly using large barrel syringes, 2 of them filled with a brown/orange solution and wait 20 minutes for it to really catch on me, the other understood but his work is nowhere as good as my good old dentist who retired, the guy who's my age, practicing since maybe only 7-8 years gives me alright anesthesia but is nowhere the amazing sculptor my previous guy was, going back because their filling failed was not so great.
But at least I don't get like my ex girlfriend who looked like a squirrel with provisions for all winter, she got way more swollen than you THG, for 12h+ I get the difficulty to speak once out of 10 and it only lasts 4-5 hours tops, I guess I'm lucky.

as a rangers fan, the young guys are definitely the most exciting thing about the rangers right now. perrault, sykora, laba, fortescue, and more. they've all been wonderful these last dozen or so games in the regular season
Ah, another Rangers therapy session. After former Rangers GM Jeff Gorton’s string of horrific drafting, the Rangers badly need to draft a franchise guy. They need everything. Top six scorer. Big Center who can battle and win face offs. Puck possession defenseman behind Fox.
If Mika Zibanejad didn’t have a NMC, Drury would have already moved his contract, $8M/season ends in 2029-30. Nice guy. Just doesn’t move the needle. JT Miller is despised in the locker room. That’s why the players aren’t fans of Drury. Miller is another guy overpaid and stuck till 2030. Trochet is the odd man out.
Molly Walker’s buddy, Braden Schneider will be traded. He’s regressed. The Rangers will have a ton of cap space but the free agency pool sucks for the next 2 seasons.
The young players are very good bottom six guys except Perreault and Lafreniere who complement each other. Cuylle is a good kid. Top six? Ehhhh….Maybe if he plays alongside a great Center and RW.

Drury has put together a team to win in the dead puck era, trade Vinny T this summer because value can only go down.
I’m a bit disappointed with the return for Panarin, but hoping that prospect from LA turns into a stud player.
I’m not surprised by the Rangers’ position this year. With Fox and Shesterkin I’d say they’re always a playoff team, but with both of those guys injured, the team turns into a bottom dweller.

A full two years plus thg thinks rangers are just about to be good. They are not. Usually front offices seen as incompetent, nyr fo is toxic.

It's crazy how often this team get's in it's own way something definetly needs to change with the management if they expect anything to improve.

i might be the rare drury supporter here. my issue is with sullivan…he doesn't make many in game changes, doesn't hold top players accountable & questionable line combos

The Hockey Guy is way too nice.. watch any rangers YouTube channel and they rip into this organization manly Drury.Nothing is going to ever change until either Dolan sells the team to an owner who cares about hockey or he Fires Drury and hire a a real GM who will have the ability to do what they want and not have Dolan being the puppet master.

You're wearing my favorite Rangers jersey. I just don't see the Rangers doing great with Drury there. He doesn't inspire confidence in the players.
I honestly think they can turn it around and make the playoffs, igor is still top 5 goalie. After the break they were a much better team especially once their rookies were inserted into the lineup. This off-season theyll have guaranteed top 5 pick and q later pick in the 1st round and 7 total in the first 3 rounds and 30 million to play with in the off-season we can definitely see a turnaround.
