Imaginez payer 388 $ pour un billet pour un match des Flyers en avril. Jamais dans un million d’années vous n’auriez pensé que cela était possible il y a à peine 3 mois…

The entertainment value and chance to see the team win is just not there right now with the Sixers. Meanwhile the young Flyers are easily the most exciting version of flyers hockey in the last 10plus years.
Nothing lamer than trying to put other Philly teams down. Never understand why fans need their one of the 4 teams to be the most popular or whatever. Shouldn’t we be rooting for all of them?
The NBA’s product as a whole isn’t entertaining imo so this isn’t surprising
This is kind of lame, kicking them while they’re down.
Who cares. The two teams are in vastly different situations. For most of their existence the Flyers have been a hotter ticket in the city despite basketball being more popular overall.
Well in defense of the Sixers which one would you pay to watch at this point???
Always has been. Philly is a gritty city and likes tough and hard nosed athletes. The nba doesn’t produce that. There’s a reason we worship guys like AI and Barkley go break the mold
Sixers have been the black sheep of Philly sports for as long as I’ve been alive, except for the early/mid AI years.
I don’t follow basketball at all. Isn’t Embiid supposed to be a generational player? Is the team around him not good? Is the management bad?
Anyone know good hiding spots in XFM arena? Preferably somewhere you could survive 22 hours?
The relative levels of hope might have something to do with it.
Fuck Sheetz!
embiid is hurt

Not that it matters that much, but I’m seeing $269 on SeatGeek for Flyers
I mean, the Flyera are exactly what this city loves (an unproven underdog with nothing to lose who are giving it their all and doing very well against a heavy-favorite big-time rival) while the Sixers are in their 8th (?) straight year of losing in the first or second round to Boston.
The tickets I bought for g4 a week ago were 275 are now almost at 500
Bruh I didn’t even know Sixers playoffs started lmao
How much do regular season tickets go for?
Because the Flyers are actually competitive. The Sixers don’t stand a chance without Embiid.
Have you see the Sixers lately? They’re barely worth that $57.
How I know I married the right woman: my wife and I decided the games were too pricey to my disappointment last week. My wife got home the other day and reveals she decided she had some extra money and a credit card and bought tickets for the family!
Super pumped and we will be there Saturday!
yikes
In what world are we living in that the Flyers are the most expensive ticket in town? You couldn’t pay me to go to a Phils game right now, let alone expect me to pay good money to watch that product right now. And the Sixers are most likely going to lose to the Celtics again, it’s just expected at this point. I want to believe in them, but I’ve been let down year after year.
Yaaaaaa heeeard!!! Say it louder for the DHs in the back.
The Sixers existence over the past decade has been to be demolished by the Celtics in the playoffs. We all know how that series ends.
Never thought I’d see so much hockey purity culture on a Philly sports subreddit. Not a good look for this sub tbh.
Philly is actually a football town. Almost all year round, it’s one thing or another with the Iggles. With the Phillies in a horrendous slump. The Flyers are the city’s standard-bearers now.
Old story about the Sixers. It was a Saturday playoff game for the Sixers game 5, I do believe, against the Bucks, and a non-descript early-season Phillies game. The Sixers game drew about 8,000, and the Phillies drew 30,000. This was when the Sixers had Julius Erving. The Phillies did have Michael Jack Schmidt at the time, too.
i mean, yeah, the flyers are great. but has anyone noticed how utterly unwatchable NBA basketball is? my lord.
Weird flex
