Can we decline a power play?? Half serious question

You know going 0 for 30 on the power play is equivalent to playing an entire 60 minute game 5 on 4 and not scoring.

They need to stop trying to beat the bruins at their game and play more skillful hockey. Sabres are more skilled, lean into it.

Has a powerplay coach ever been fired DURING playoffs? Idk how he’s held a job this long lol
A full 60 minutes of 5v4 without a goal has to be a record

Literally all they need to practice is a regular umbrella pp with 2 wingers crashing the net.

The win game one was a red herring. The performed very poorly for 50 minutes. How that was lost on them I have no clue. Winning was the exception to the rule not a repeatable game plan. They need to play hard from the start get leads and make Boston sweat.

I’m hoping that the actual loss, and not just scooting in on a win in the last 10 minutes, forces them to confront the issues with the PP and scoring in general.
