Drai's always had another gear to change to in the playoffs – a couple years back, he set the scoring record for that year's postseason, despite the team being second round exits, and despite him playing on a broken leg for the whole thing

When the team can put up performances without McDavid having really any impact, that's a very good sign. However still a ton of question marks defensively.

I think 3/4 of Oilers goals came off of rebounds from Dostal. If Ingram is gonna get called out for rebound control, Dostal should be called out too!
As an oilers fan I almost feel more confident with the team going into the third down a goal than up two.

That first period from the oilers is the most dominant performance I’ve seen yet in this playoffs from any team. If they stick to that they will win the cup

Worth mentioning McDavid was only held pointless 14 times this year. It's less a knock on the oilers not winning when he doesn't contribute and more just the fact that McDavid almost always gets at least a point.

This was nearly a clichee of an oilers game. 1 period completely dominant offense -you think no way they can loose this today. 1 period giving away easy goals and you think they have never heard about defense and ask yourself how they made the playoffs. And 3rd period making a comeback win which feels much more normal than leading with 2 goals and bring the win home
Ducks didnt play up to their best, theyre a home squad thru and thru. All they need is one in Edmonton. Dont count the Ducks out yet.
Compared to the goal tending in game 1 last year the goal tending is a massive improvement
