I dont understand why no one and i mean no one has the balls to fight!! We need a spark something that will turn the tide and we got nothing. I’d overhaul the forward core. I’d pull Novak and Mantha and get Rutger and Avery in there. We need speed on the wings and guys who can win on the forecheck. I’d pull Kindel out and keep Mantha in but we don’t have the centers for it.

The Pens need to "Foil" up
I'm a Flyers fan. Now, you get to see what us fans in Philly who don't do or like all the extra nonsense that fans do at games. You have a platform so you can at least speak to you fellow fans watching. We have no control what others do at the games. I haven't been to games in awhile. I use to go all the time including other places. I've seen bad behavior in a lot of other places so I don't get the uppity attitude like it is only Philly. I can name a lot of places that were bad and it does need to stop. I get some trash talking but it goes to the extreme.
Flyers fan here. These guys are real and sincere. I have no problem with some trash talk. Lord knows many Pittsburgh transplants have gain employment over the years on the eastern side of the state. We had to listen to those Steeler fans for years until the Eagles broke through and won their first SB. I have no issue with the fans or most of the Pens. I always respected Lemieux. If he'd had longevity he'd had broken a lot more records. My issue has and still is Crosby. He started the diving that took over the sport for years. Is he a great player? No doubt. Do I respect him. Not a chance. I want a great series, but if the Flyers do sweep the Pens (I doubt it) and it gets Crosby to retire early, I will not shed a tear.
As a Flyers fan, it feels like 2006 again just reversed roles. Let’s travel back in time to 06 for a second. The Flyers were absolutely stacked with old legends in their twilight years who still had arguably 2-3 years left. They had Peter Forsberg, Keith Primaue, Simone Gagne, Darien Hatcher, they had a quality but old net minder in Jeff Hackett and Vegas had them clearly favored to win the Stanley cup. And it was perhaps the significant favorite to win something in any sport. And it all just blew up in their face. The penguins had a young intriguing team and the rivalry instantly switched from Flyers dominance to Pittsburgh Dominance. The tides shifted and the rules changed and the rules were arguably even changed for teams like Pittsburgh to succeed better. Pittsburgh would soon be a very good team for the next 20 years.
Now the Flyers are young and intriguing and the Penguins are old.
It feels like a complete circle.
I'm not going to crap on your Penquins. That organization has been elite for quite a long time. Maybe your big three are too old. I'll be honest, I can't figure out why the Pens have struggled. Maybe the Flyers are just clogging up the neutral zone. The Flyers are playing with house money. Maybe they're just really loose. I have too much respect for Lemieux, Jagr, Crosby, Malkin and quite a few other great players. Born and raised in Philly

HOCKEY fan here, primary team is Flyers. Really good intro. If 50% of USA is jerks than its safe to say 50.% of ALL fans are jerks. I never liked Crosby and Malkin at all. Mad respect to Lemuix and Jagr. Fluery is my favorite all time goalie but Malkin should have played baseball the way he swings his stick around and Sid shoulda been in politics how slimy he is. No respect for those two. Cant wait for Pens to fire-sale in the off season. Heads will roll. 😂 or at least they should.

I saw Brock Faber for Minnesota last night skate through the middle of the ice and take it right to the gaoltender and score a goal. The Pens dont have a defenseman that can do that.

As a 40 year penguins fan I'm severely disappointed in how quickly people have proved to be fare weather fans. Down two games and people are acting like it's the end of them ever watching hockey again. To them I say, good riddance.

Can I be honest about game 2 as a flyer fan so I know it gonna be biased but some of the officiating last night was pretty one sided I’m not going to be too upset because I know out PP is horrendous and we won so I’m not angry but I feel like until toc yelled at the refs it was a little ridiculous with some of the calls
I know Stu wouldn’t do this and is a nice guy, but I think it would spark this team if he mentioned how poor the play in front of him has been so far to the media. Saying something like, I know I haven’t been perfect, but it’s pretty hard to win a game when we score 0 goals in a game
I also wanna say as a Flyers fan, I personally don't mind the "F**k the Flyers" chants. We say some pretty nasty things in our arena whenever you guys come to town, I think it's only fair y'all (that's yinz to you haha) get to do the same. Handshake.
Malkin and Karlsson cannot be on the same powerplay unit together from now on. They both were very unaware at times of players getting behind them and weren’t willing to put in effort. Pretty soon it’s time to let Malkin, Karlsson, and Sid to sit on the bench and watch a powerplay.
