Hearing the crowd was by far one of my favorite parts of the game. I'm hoping to go to the next watch party lol let's go Buffalo!💙💛
I am a Hockey fan first. I do have my favourite team which is the Penguins and Oilers. But yet I find myself rooting for Buffalo to win the cup.

as a sabres fan boston kinda got complacent they tried to sit back and play lockdown d but when the sabres have that much zone possession breakdowns were inevitable. after the thompson goal it just got the crowd back into it and the energy shifted and the boys just started rolling
It's important to note about the Booing, that it was 100% directed at the Power Play and it's ineptness. Not only that but it's pretty much all directed at Seth Appert who coaches the power play. Sabres fans are knowledgeable and we're frustrated with its setup. None of the booing was directed at the team.

What a boring game… until the end! Holy Cow I don't care about either of these teams but I jumped for joy for the Sabres as if I was cheering for them the whole time. D@MN I Love the Playoffs!!!

The first 52 minutez of this game produced every worst fear I had about BUF. But BOS gets mad every time opponents score a goal. When they get mad, they start throwing their toys. Infantilistic rage. The first goal got them mad. The tie goal they unravelled. That's how you play BOS. Just score lots of goals! Keep pissing them off…Swayman did have a ballsy game. And Luuk is playing too far out in the crease. That needs to stop…Sabres! Do what you did in the last 8 minutes in the first 8 next and future games. BOS is a hot-tempered team, and they get rattled and undisciplined in a hurry. And BOS. You clowns are certifiably insane if want to pick fights with BUF. I was worried about BUF being too slow at the beginning of the season because of their size. But this team is a genius construct of condors and falcons…Game 2. Bring it!!!… 😬
Well, at the least for Buffalo fans the nightmare of them being swept is put to rest 🙂
I know you don’t like the Sabres, likely from lost coin flip to get Perrault. They are going to beat Boston and are on a collision course with winner of Montreal and Tampa. Deep, fast and don’t forget this: best road team in hockey!!!
As a Sabres fan the first 2 and a half (almost) were incredibly frustrating. But then 10 minutes of magic happened. Once they broke the seal on that first goal it was like a weight lifted for all of them.
Jesus, I was at the VGK game and at the start of the pre-game show, Boston was 2-0, and by puck drop, Buffalo flipped the script with 4-2. I was shocked 😮😮😮

My mom (Bruins fan) was acting like this was a game seven. I don't care who wins, but I am happy for Buffalo. Swayman was on point for the first 50 minutes. But then Boston fell apart and Swaymen couldn't stop all of them. Let's hope we get more games like this in the series

I’m not sure we watched the same game. I thought it was a total domination by the sabres and without the Sayman playing outstanding for 2 periods, this would have been a blowout. Sabres almost doubled up shots and hits. Booing? I thought the crowd was electric. So much positive stuff to talk about for the Sabres, I’m surprised with what you chose to bring up. Oh well, Bruins fan.

Swayman was so far inside my head for the first 50 minutes he could probably see all my childhood memories. I think he is going to steal a couple games in this series, maybe Pasta steals one too. But hopefully Buffalo can keep finding a way to break through the so-called "clog" defense.
I get Sabres fans are pumped, the city of Buffalo is hungry. As a B’s fan, I cant even be bothered. I don’t love the roster, I feel like they aren’t built to be competitive in the playoffs, and then they come out and blow yet ANOTHER 2 goal lead in less than a minute. I don’t feel like management cares, just wants to sell tickets and because we’re original 6 they always will. Im disconnected, I just laughed and said screw em when that 3rd goal went in… they don’t care why should I?
Sabres outshot the B's 37-20, it was a matter of time with the Sabres that the puck would eventually go in the net. Bruins coach saying the Bruins are more physical, how about now seeing Buffalo outhit the bruins 53-38. Bruins get dogwalked if Swayman doesn't start last night
I think we are all Sabres fans this year in some way, shape or form. Happy for their fan base, 15 years of frustration being let out…that place was a mad house!

This was my favorite game of the weekend. Tage Thompson further proving my point. He is built for playoff goals. The only downside was the Buffalo's fan booing so much until they started scoring. It isn't easy Buffalo, calm down. Dont turn into Toronto. Lots of great fan support in all games so far. Just the first round. If this goes to the cup the entire state of NY will be hanging out in Buffalo.
Bruins starting to become like Torronah
Boston had a lot of puck luck and Swayman played excellently. I thought Swayman might be shaky for the playoffs. But this win showed that Buffalo has a never say die attitude and even against a hot goalie they’ll find a way to win.
Thats what Buffalo needed. They didn’t just come to play. They came to win.

Both Sportscenter and ESPN blew off the Sabres, and were rather disrespectful while doing it. I watched both of them, and the best part of it was a find that P.K.Subban showed off from M.C. Hammers' yard sale…Lotsa ballroom in them.
Thompson postgame even commenting on how surprised he was with how loud ourfans are. Fact : Eichel never experienced this 🤯
Totally torn. Grew up in Rochester, Jody Gage era, remember Amerks getting a couple of the USA gold winning guys after the Olympics. Even before then, just a huge Amerks/Sabres fan. 30 yrs ago moved to Vegas, and had to watch from a distance, suffering the same playoff failures and heart breaking playoff losses as y'all. Then Vegas gets a team and fell in love with the VGK, but also loving the Sabres success against us, if that makes sense. Now, NOW, COULD IT BE POSSIBLE?? SABRES vs VGK… I'M SO HAPPY FOR Y'ALL AS SABRES FANS AND I KNOW HOW THE AUD USED TO GET during the playoffs. Go Knights Go, Win Sabres Win…
