  1. The lack of any penalty on that last rush in overtime was unbelievable. These are professional officials that are paid to make those calls, that was absolutely pathetic and the Flames deserved to win that game.

  2. multi-tasking is hard for refs,

a "crackdown on crosschecks" means they're unable to pay attention to blatant trips. in OT. which lead to odd man rushes and ultimately the GWG.

  3. It feels so annoying how that tripping call in OT wasn’t u know counted and refs just let them play and that call wasn’t counted eventually led to our 6 game streak end just because of one stupid call. This is so pathetic but, clearly Nashville was our strongest opponent in this streak Saros- did amazing job defending same as Markstrom it just feels like refs did really bad call that led to flames losing there streak. Let’s hope flames can win against Dallas

  4. This is complete bs. Now let’s analyze that trip in OT fairly. So flames lineup at that point was: Matthew Tkachuk; Hannifin; and Mike Backlund. Nashville lineup: Ekholm; Matthew Grandlund; and Matt Duchene, ok now that out of the way let’s analyze that play fairly (obviously I am a flames fan, but I will try to be non biased) Hannifin tries to shoot but lose the puck then Mike Backlund has a puck but when Ekholm came close Backlund fell Ekholm gave pass to Grandlund with the puck pass to Duchene and he scores. U might think that Backlund just slipped but if u watch replay u can see that Ekholm stick is involved in the play. Now if Ekholm fell and Backlund tripped on Ekholms body then that wouldn’t been penalty but in this situation it’s Ekholms stick involved in that play. Now by replay to me looks like that the stick went between Backlund legs and he fell so technically it should’ve been tripping call? Now of course I am upset that our winning streak is over and on my opinion that was tripping call I tried to be fair and non biased. And in conclusion, I think that should’ve been tripping call since Backlund tripped on Ekholms stick and not on him body.
P.S: pls don’t send any hate To me I just said my opinion that’s all

  5. that was a tripping 1st off but the Flames were good Jusse was better…we stole that game I don't know how but whew

  6. You suck you refs are so
blind I bet your grammas can ref better and that's all you see is black and White

  7. Imagine having to rely on the refs in order to win. If the tripping was called, it should have been a 4 on 3 for the Flames in OT and they could have won it in. But no, the officiating sucks. Go ahead people, now argue against me.

  8. There should be some type of fine or deduction in pay for referees who miss obvious calls. He blew it. Trip all day. Problem is there isn't so they don't care. Need to make them care. Reffing last year in the playoffs was atrocious. Changes need to be made.

  9. As a Preds fan, I would say the OT play was a trip. But the Flames didn't lose because of that. They lost because they were unable to score on all those breakaways the Preds gave them! Tjis game shouldn't even have OT if Calgary capitalize from their chances

  10. How do you actually miss that call, in OT 3 on 3 with nothing going on any where but the puck… what else are you looking at??

  11. So many missed chances by the flames makes for a tough loss. Respect to the preds for letting the game come to them. Still unreal how the refs missed so many calls, some of them not seen here

  12. Blame the refs sure.
It’s totally the reason the flames blew about half a dozen odd man rushes

  13. I think they might not have called that Trip at the end cause Ekholm possess the puck and then backlund basically skates into where he's trying to play the puck. The replay angles really don't do it any favors cause you loose sight of the puck against the boards. Might have been incidental follow through up against the boards. Just really hard to tell honestly.

  14. That was a trip I am a Flames fan but I like Ekolm a lot but clearly a trip

  15. Nashville had, like, no right to a W there. But if you're gonna rob Calgary out of 2 points you'd BETTER do the same to Edmonton. Things have been too easy for them, so get it frickin done Preds.

  16. I counted 4 odd man chances for Calgary in the first . As obviously stated in the comments about the poor officiating, Calgary had their chances more than once. Sometimes the refs hands the game to the other team. Juuse kept us in the game.

  17. I wonder if the refs weren't watching the trip at the end due to the number of penalties that were already called in favor of Calgary. The Predators did rack up 6 penalties on the evening, which isn't a small number by any means. I feel like the refs might've stopped looking for Predators penalties since the PP chances were so lopsided, or maybe they felt that they gave a soft call in favor of the Flames earlier in the game. That's not to say that I like when the refs manage the game like that, but maybe that explains the missed trip.

  18. I love the flames uniform, old school yeah!now if the Oilers can go back to their 1985 sweaters, maybe they can advance past the first round

  19. People who don’t like Granlund and Duchene (lotta haters here in Nashville and around the internets) don’t really get or play hockey. Those two with Forsberg is a formidable line pairing on the rise. Matt and Filip have mad hands & Granland is a boss. Preds will exceed expectations this season & make a run at the cup.

  20. Glad that the Preds came away with the win but Calgary was all over them all game long and, yes, that was a trip that wasn't called in OT. As good as the Flames are I think the Juice stood up to the task and carried the Preds. He was solid as a rock.

  21. Even after he got interfered with Tkachuk could have hustled and made a play on Duchene but he was weak, tired, and lazy.
