It’s pathetic the ref did this after one large scrum and now he’s trying to control a game that wasn’t out of control by calling every little thing, a penalty now or going around the ice pointing at every player after the whistle threatening to take them to the box after just a little minor stuff between players. If he can’t handle playoff hockey he should be a ref, bc one large scrum is minor compared to other games this year so far where refs weren’t taking all 5 players until game was out of reach! He’s ruining a game that was really good up until this point.
We still need more chaos to match the energy of the 2012 version.

I miss the days when there were barely any fights or penalties called in the playoffs. It was just intense, hard hitting, fast hockey where only the most egregious of penalties were called. The Bs/Buffalo game was the same way. This stuff is getting goofy.

Little know rule. Everyone in the penalty box has to sit so if they run out of bench space they have to sit on their teammates lap.
This is so slap stick that I love it. I just wish it cut to the ice and it’s just the goalies hitting the puck from one side to the other.
is it me or is this happening in every single series. I feel like it’s not the best team that’s going to win, it’s the team that survives. The team that survives is the best team, but you know what I mean. I can’t remember watching the playoffs and seeing teams want to absolutely kill each other as much as they do this year. So many penalties, so many power plays…they don’t care. Break the glass…kill each other…scream at each other while 5 players sit in the penalty box for either team. This is absolutely nuts.
