Have we ever thought of making the person who purchased the ticket show ID to get in? While not a perfect system, it would allow a chance for fans to see a game who don't have $850 for nosebleeds. No doubt a few that booed, spent all they have to be there riding the wave of excitement. Or are we in bed with the free market of a team of ppl clicking buy now to get those onto Stubhub and the like and fleecing the fans? My idea might not work, but something should be done. Make ppl buy a physical ticket in person, wait in line to get them….something needs to give, the extraction on everything we do, eat and need…we're watching society fall. The issue is Teams have direct deals with resale sites and like the gouging. Without the Miracle on Ice, Boston's 2-0.
No offense but you guys clearly dont keep up with the sabres outside of December- Present. The only reason that team exists still is because of that fan base. For 14 years they put out a horrendous product. Buffalo has proven if you put out a product worth supporting the fans will. You dont get to be a basement team demanding a good crowd how does that even make sense to blame the fans 😂

Turning it to baseball for a second, Trea Turner was struggling mightily to start his Phillies career and the fans gave it to him. After weeks of struggling, a Phillies fan made a video and posted it online, encouraging Phillies fans to cheer for Trea during one of his at-bats. His season turned around after that. So yes, fan support can sink or swim the morale in some cases.
I think a part of the booing that is not being talked about enough: I believe it's specifcally about the power play. I saw end of regular season was 0-31 now 0-9 in this two games. I definitely understand that frustration, especially when you can't even get set up in the offensive zone
