Darnell nurse is a fraudulent farce of a hockey player. Does twice as much to hurt his team as he does to help. Can’t go a single game without taking a ridiculously stupid penalty. I blame the coaching staff at this point for putting him out there and shooting his team in the back night after night. Dude is painful to watch. Not sure how his teammates don’t tell him to stop assisting the opposing team.

In response to the question that forms the title of that SportsCentre excerpt, there’s no doubt defensive concerns with the Oilers, in their current playoff series, are real, and need correcting ASAP or they are likely to lose that series. Allowing on average 4.5 goals/game, with six of them allowed in game 2, if not alarming to the coaching staff or players, should be alarming.
The boys were just off, will be much better in game 3.

This has been an issue for YEARS. Even last years cup was lost due to poor defense. And yall are saying it’s “Edmontons year” they lost 2 cups in a row to the same team?!?! It ain’t happening
A terrible game. Sloppy defence and disconnected team play. The Ducks are in it now and the Oilers gave up a huge opportunity to take over this series.

Overall I think the Oilers will win the series, but I think the Ducks could be trouble for them. On record McDavid has struggled against them, Dostal has owned Mcdude.
I'm more concerned about the offense. The Oilers can't get any sustained time in the offensive zone. They cross the blue line, get poke checked, and the Ducks immediately bring the puck back into the Oilers end.
And McDavid….my god. These have been the worst two games I've seen him play. Oilers possession has died on his stick so many times. And the Ducks are making it look easy. Just a simple little poke check and McDavid flies by the puck.
It's been frustrating to watch.
