6K used to be rotten at shoot outs, and now after developing he is rock solid. I predict the same will happen with playoff hockey, a totally different mental game. He showed he can develop in that manner in the shootouts so I suspect he will grow into a great played hockey goalie…..in time. Get Lyon the start tonight and see how it goes, and let Upi grow into it, dont just throw him to the wolves.

Feel for Upie but he’s been letting up some softies all series. You have multiple quality goalies and you’ve been using them all year. This is the playoffs so leashes should be air tight

Lyon is not our back-up goalie this year. He is a huge part of the reason we’re here and has played excellent.
He and UPL platooned all year when healthy and the only reason UPL got a shot at the ‘starter’s’ net is because Lyon was banged up in March and you really should try to ride a guy in the playoffs imo

I always thought Lyon should have been the guy anyways, maybe an unpopular opinion. UPL has shown he can be good but it seems most of the goals he does gives up are ones where you’re like “I feel like he should have had that one”. Maybe not soft goals per se but like nothing spectacular either.
