Sabres are the Bills of the NHL.
Joe Dibiase keeps insisting that the Sabres are a better team than the Bruins, as if the Sabres were the late '50s Canadiens and the Bruins are the Philadelphia Quakers. The Sabres certainly have an edge in speed and maybe natural talent, but there is a lot more to the game than that. And between the regular season and the playoffs, to this point the Bruins have a 4-2 record against the Sabres. Quality wise, there is not a huge difference between these two teams, at least not as much as Dibiase seems to think.
Another amazing benefit of having the Sabres in the playoffs: having to hear far fewer mock draft conversations! Thank you Sabres for saving us from this yearly scourge! I would rather hear golf conversations than mock draft opinions! 😏

The question is not if they are the better team, but are they the better playoff team. Playoffs are a different animal and one Boston tends to do pretty well with.

Dunne is probably the player who has to make room for Ostlund. But Dunne is 54% on faceoffs this year. The Sabres need to make some sort of move. Either play a better defensive game or make Boston chase after us.
You need to fix power play strategy, otherwise your team isn't going anywhere.
Why do you persist carrying the puck in when Tampa defence forming a wall along the blueline??? Shoot the puck in and go after it. What has Dahlin been doing in the power plays?? Why is he not shooting at the net. You need to get rid of your power play coach. I never been sich a pathetic power play tactics.

Keep your best players ,Tage for one out of the penalty box (10 min major) , more push from Power for sure & Ruff should match opponents line better.
Ruff has never been good at making adjustments.

Boston is tough to beat at their place. There has to be improvements in one of these two areas. Power play and goaltending. It's as simple as that. A couple of Sabres need to rise up and elevate their game. Either that or the team in general just needs to play much better. Get an early lead and dictate the action on the Bruins. They have been doing that most of the regular season.
Take a look at how Buffalo was able to get through Tampa Bay. They need toughness and a mean, confident streak that says we are good enough to beat these guys. Boston is as good as Tampa Bay or Montreal. Show your toughness and skill. You can do this.
