  1. Why could the Leafs not attract a man with experience who has won at least one Stanley Cup? I mean I have nothing against Sundin but he has never done the job of a GM. He has never won a Stanley Cup. Maybe Anaheim or Dallas could attract him. But Toronto is an original six team with distinction and experience. Would Rogers Communication hire for its CEO a man who has no experience in the communications business but was a man whose only expertise is watching a lot of TV?

  2. I'm so sick of hearing that Tavares was a mistake. He was and is everything he was supposed to be for this organization. Possibly the most consistent over the last 8 years. The only thing negative about his deal was the fact that covid happened and the cap froze. The down turn was all the bad decisions made by management after the cap freeze. Listening to fans after early exits. Trading Kadri! Not even trying to resign, Hyman. Instead of keeping and using draft picks, they gave them away for players they wouldn't be able to resign. Not giving young talent a real chance to grow and perform. Now they have next to nothing for draft picks. Basically, there are no prospects and for some stupid reason, they think that there is a chance that they can fix things with a retool. When they are in one of the most competitive divisions in the league and really only have Nylander, regularly injured Matthews and trusty 36 year old Tavares and a ridiculous cap hit because like he did at the beginning wants to win as a Maple Leaf!

  3. Shock hire? I’m all for it. The best shock hire would be Brian Hayes. But he’s a fraud so it’s not likely to happen

  4. What a foolish management we have in Toronto.. Hire the guy who left Toronto and went to Vancouver and the Leafs got nothing in return. The fish stinks from the head down.

  5. Gary Bettman for GM. You guys are really running out of things to talk about and that’s why I don’t listen. You guys have gone stale with the Leafs talk for a while.

  6. President Armstrong (still think he is the main target here )
    Kevyn Adam's- GM
Assistant to GM Mark Hunter along with Pridham
Coach …somehow bring in Rod Brindamour if things dont shape up in the playoffs for carolina

  7. Mark Hunter was responsible for drafting 23 players back when he was with the Leafs he had about 20 failures who did not make the league as regulars and most did not even make the Marlies, mostly because they were mostly big players who were so slow on their skates, they did not have enough talent . Check his drafting it was the worst percentage in the last Thirty years. This has been reported recently by one of the hockey press. He took a Russian big slow lunk ahead of DeBrincat. That Russian played 12 games and was a complete bust around thirty or thirty one pick. DeBrincat was still available and everyone hockey at the time thought he was next to be picked. He is a perennial 40 goal scorer. According to the report published last week nobody had a fail percentage higher than Hunter when he ran the Leafs draft, so no please stop this Hunter should have been the GM bs
