   What a pathetic club our team has become. I’m glad we got you to cover it and not gaslight us like some of the IG people who were all “let Fitz cook,” but now are changing their tune. Not sure if I shared this with you already on the other profile, but I once saw Madden at a preseason game in Scranton. I yelled “yeah Mad Dog!” Dude looked at me like he was gonna kill me. (This was not long after he was using the Pens nicknames to trick them into giving up the puck.) Luckily, I was wearing my Devils jersey. He decided I was a friendly and wrnt back to warming up. 🤣 That dude was the epitome of a Devil during Lou’s rein. I believe he was also captain for a short stint, no? Wasn’t thrilled when he left either, but he got that Cup with Chicago, and definitely deserved it.

   To be fair the goal where Jack hits Hellys skate was more of a gt interference so it didn't surprise me that the next one got taken off the boards. Team continues to be deflating and nothing will change yet again. What will it take?

   I saw a few times when Jack could have taken a shot on goal, but instead he passed it to someone else. Something very ugly is happening with this tam. They just do not want to play or are tanking again to get high draft pick. Typical move by fitz and co.

   I’m new to hockey from Australia I went to a devils game last year against the rangers at the rock and I’ve gone for New Jersey ever since but the boys are hard to watch at the moment

   I never understand this obsession with using +/- as a stat to judge players ESPECIALLY when they are on struggling teams. It mixes game states and if you're on one of the poorer teams like the Devils, you probably have your goalie pulled at the end of games more often, and get a minus because of the empty net (which is ridiculous). Like yeah, the better players will have the worse +/- in those situations because you put your best players on the ice for 6v5, not random bottom 6 guys. They should just make it so that +/- is 5v5 goal differential but even then it's not a perfect stat. That being said, part of the reason why the team is struggling is because the top players aren't playing their best, so I understand the general idea of what this person was saying. I just think +/- is a poor way to illustrate that point.

    Imagine being dumb enough to sign 3 RD’s to contracts with NTC’s and using the #2 overall pick on the same position then wondering why you have a roster problem and lack of depth at other positions. I really just started following this team and watching every game last year and literally one of the first things i was thought and got confused by was why they would draft Nemec if they already had a full stable of defenseman. Add in that apparently Nemec was a bit of a reach and it’s seriously like “what were you thinking?” I like Nemec too it just makes no sense whatsoever.

    the devils had almost the 12 the team was injured. when the team couldnt score it is not the coach fault it on the players not gm or coach fault.quinn trade i would not have made they wanted to much if they also recieved a 1st round. and not the russian 10pick2years ago.also quinn still will be a free agent in 2 years sign him then.i will support the team. unless the make a stupid trade like brad park 1975 trade
