Any massholes coming over here are going to be so mad if they see this

Was this a missed call? Probably. But it made up for all the officiating in the game before this moment

Just old time hockey, boys.
What would Eddie Shore say

Tuch can’t help if he has big elbows. Maybe that guy should be more careful where he puts his face.
maccpapa
skating chin first into someone’s elbow is quite the bold strategy. hopefully he does it again
BoarderMW
Skating at high speed into a pointy object is not a recipe for success.

Lohrei’s face running right into Tuch’s Elbow

Busywithbeans78
Bruins fan here – was so pissed last night, but honestly respect the move

The Boston Globe led with the headline: « Sabres elbow their way in front of Bruins with Game 3 victory at Garden »
LOL

I don’t recall seeing this last night. The still of this just looks like his elbow is up as part of his stick handling, totally incidental, yet it’s being discussed as this big missed call.
Anyone have video of it?
Intelligent_Choice91
Is tuch not allowed to use his elbows because a bruin wants to run face first into it? Tuch has the puck lol and he’s stick handling lmao

Would’ve been so much better if it was Zadorov

Lohrei doesn’t understand physics.

For how much they’ve talked up being the stronger bigger and more physical team, Boston is really being wusses about the officiating between this and us apparently killing swayman every night. But fail to see how much they got away with last night too

Elbows up boys, this is playoff hockey.
Beechsack
If the Bruins would have done this, they would have put up a statue of the player.
Who cares what they think.

Anybody have the clip of this? I can’t find it

Wily veteran move

Tuch winking – I accidentally on purpose did this thing…

I imagine Tuch said TEE HEE right after this

If you think that someone can simultaneously stickhandle the puck and elbow someone then i invite you try playing hockey for the first time ever. Actually just go to a skate N shoot, embarrasses yourself because you dont know what you’re doing while you try to replicate it only to realize that extending the elbow(elbowing) takes the stick off the ice. You physically cannot extend an elbow and stickhandle simultaneously.
This take is par for the boston casual sports complex, fans so spoiled by success they simply stopped trying to learn the game.

Any pro hockey player that says they don’t sneak an elbow in hopes to get away with it is a liar.

I just rewatched the full play. Tuch definitely knew what he was doing. Great play by him honestly. It was the perfect angle to get one by the officials.
Missed calls both ways. Don’t want to hear shit from the Boston fans about missed calls. It happens to both teams, and Tage was tripped at least twice with no call.
