Problem to get Michkov in: 6 minutes on the penalty kill and Flyers not being able to get out of their own zone in the 3rd period for long stretches.

Russ, I feel Emil Andrae has played better than Cam York this season. Andrae plays with more bite, and sees the ice better. Both are small, but Andrae is playing better.
The power play will have to be reworked in the off season. Martone, Foerester and Michkov are good players to have, center needed!! On the backend Andrae and Drysdale should be the leading candidates. Meaning we need another option.
Sorry Barkey & Bump are NOT Martone & Michkov so at this point alternating Barkey & Bump is totally fine because they are still so raw and having a couole games off may actually be better for them at this point… Further, If Barkey is in he should NOT be on a line with Michkov due to size and given the stats of when they have been on a line together so far this year should tell you why!!! On another note, give a couple years when he grows more into his body, the skies the limit for Martone!!!

Thanks Rachel and Russ. I guess Ersson is due for an extension soon. LHV just demoted one of their goalies, and Its becoming a mess in the pipeline for our goalies. Even if you replace Ersson with a vet, you aren't going to do much better. And, it will take up some cap space. But, Tocchet needs to play Vladar less and give him a break. We have said this a million times. Torts had the same problem as well when managing the goalies. Will we ever learn? See you tomorrow.

If the power play are not better until the end they're will not make playoffs, why Tocchet dont play Sanheim on the p.p. nothing to lose , and Tippett needs to be there too before Konecny horrible
Russ, according to Tocchet, Barkey is hurt and that is why he is out of the lineup. But against the Bruins or other big teams, players like Barkey and Andrae are getting caved in, as Andrae did last night.
