Linus Ullmark being far & away Ottawa's best player this series was not what I was expecting. I figured he'd be good, but he's damn near stood on his head all the while his team has left him stranded.

Canes fan here. We’re used to everyone disrespecting us. Not sure why but 🤷🏼♂️. Heard one “professional” analyst say the other day the canes were “lucky”. I guess we “lucked” our way to the best team in the east and 2nd most points in the entire nhl.
The Red Wings may have missed the playoffs, but the soul of the Red Wings is alive and well in the Senators. lol
Poor Ullmark. I think Tkachuk is letting us down. Bad decisions that almost seem like he's playing for Carolina and just not being there at all. Bad puck luck is one thing but we needed the biggest player to do his damn job

Small-market (especially southern) teams get no respect. The league, the press, and most fans outside of Carolina would rather watch a Colorado or Dallas vs Tampa Bay or Montreal or Buffalo) series.
As a canes fan, if you really think about all of the posts and literal inches Ottawa’s gotten from scoring crucial goals, this series could be a lot closer. They just can’t get those extra few inches

To be fair every game this series has been close and could have gone either but they haven't just the way she goes. 2-0 the first game with a goal called and multiple close calls, game 2 we could have ended it 10 times over but didn't, and game three was our worst game by far and it was 2-1. Don't get me wrong Carolina is a really really good team but this series could definitely be way different. Were missing now our top defence pairing and couple other guys and still kept it close every game. Only thing that really deserves any criticism is our PP its atrocious we score even 1 or 2 goals on the 15 we had its a different series.
Think you should stop assuming things based on how much "experience" a team has, what matters most in the playoffs is if you have the grit to push through challenge and win. That's how it's always been for the playoffs it's why a wild card team or an 8th seed can suddenly explode and go all the way to the final experience be damned. Seems to me the Flyers are going to try to be one of those teams.
It’s not like the sens are bad the canes are one of if not the most difficult opponents to play against and their play stile is pressure and a choking like play stile so I don’t blame them for playing mediocre
