So a few comments. I don’t want Rudolph, he seems to have the lowest upside of the “top” defensemen in the draft. Realistically, my #1 target would be Viggo Bjorck. I think he is the guy who has a chance of falling due to his height, and he is an absolute monster offensively. If he doesn’t fall, and Belchet and Lawrence don’t fall (not likely that they fall), there are a few guys I have my eyes on. Lin is one, he’s a talented RHD. Wyatt Cullen has been rocketing up the charts, and if you watch highlights from him the kid is insanely talented. He’s my #1 if the aforementioned guys don’t fall. Some guys who are projected to be there that I do not like are Hemming, Novotny, Suvonto. I think these are lower upside safer picks and I’d prefer to draft the highest upside guy available.
Guys that were mentioned: Juho Pip would be great next to Schaefer but realistically we draft too high to take him. He doesn’t have a very high upside and I think it would be a mistake to reach for him at our position. Roobroeck is a no go, the #1 thing people say about him is that he doesn’t care about hockey and is extremely lazy. No thank you. Klepov is another guy I would like, very offensively gifted.
Novotny!
we winning the lottery again
Rudolph stats don’t look too shabby and he’s a right handed defenseman
A young scorer. Offense is needed
before i start i looked to see if that MacLain was part of the coaching staff still…. I wasn't sure if Roy was handcuffed with Paul as an offensive coach…..🤔 I'd assumed he was still here for Kyle and hence my considering them as a Cancer in the clubhouse…. I was glad to see he's not here: However Chris Lamarillos is and that's so Gatsby its laughable!… so seeing Kenny Morrow; is really the only thrill. If he has the luck of the Wolfman like last year…. so I'm glad they didn't mess with mojo! I'd like to 'clap for the Wolfman' (The Guess Who) again!
Johny B and Hickey and Worthorspoon and Toewes Pelech and Pollock were my NHL 14 Isle's D and bridgeport bunch… i liked that team but I wasn't handcuffed into trading Toewes.. Right wing was that teams achilles 10 years ago! Lets talk about wasted draft picks there… well maybe not! also I had to create Sorokin hahaha but Halak was a stud!
If we didn't make the trades we might have been in the same #13 spot as there was a 6 point difference till the bottom dwellers; tankers the last week… so maybe a #10 was an option sans trades…. Thats for Darche to measure… I would rather the #10 and the picks and options in an off season rebuild… now were kinda cap tight and locked in on a plan thats akin to Lou's! 'treading water after another hurricane we saw coming!'
Beltchetz is a possible Lindros project: Eric upside, Brett downside… ?
look at Martone and how that effects the draft now?
Toronto needs a miracle…
here's too Ratchy; if they are called the Mustings!
get your Ratchy jerseys now… wear em at Hamilton games as security… hahahaha "Canadian beer sucks!"
Mitch, love ya buddy. Question. How did you become an Isles fan?
