bruins played flat again. giving too much room to the sabres and playing soft on them. you can make a montage with times that bruins guys were either constantly backing up and giving room or they were side by side trying to play the puck instead of playing the man. this is the first round…. these guys should be running through the freakin wall right now. if the effort was there but buffalo was better, then it is what it is, but that's not what's happening on these 2 losses.
After going down 2-1, it looked like they were still trying to hold a lead. No forechecking. Buffalo is just the better team. The Bruins have been outplayed all 3 games. Swayman is the reason it's only 2-1.
It was literally like 45 seconds later that buffalo scored after boston player ran into tuchs elbow to try to draw a penalty 🤦♂️boston also had possession in that 45 seconds hut failed to clear it

If you are awarded a penalty shot, if you miss the penalty shot, you should be awarded a power play anyway. If it is egregious enough for a penalty shot, it makes sense analytics-wise.
