I just realised that Utah actually won more games than Vegas which was not even a .500 team… Spit !
So how did Vegas achieve home ice even though it has only 39 wins.. 4 lesser than Utah (43) ??
It so happens that Vegas was the second biggest LOSER in OT games (17 games) in all of NHL… The biggest LOSER being the L.A. Kings (20 OT losses)
And the Loser shitlibs that run the NHL rewards Vegas with 17 points for losing in OT…
Utah which actually had a winning record 43-39 and a better one than Vegas but had lesser number of losses including only 6 OT losses is 3 points behind Vegas in this skewered regular season ranking system and in a cruel irony loses home ice against a team that had 4 lesser wins …let that sink in.
No league rewards losing like the NHL…

Playoff Marner lives. He’s just a guy out there, not particularly noticeable. I know that great players don’t often hit the market, and when they do, a Cup contender will look for that final piece. But it looks like a bad decision and a waste of cap space
