Blaming the officials is the mating call of the loser.
1) Not a direct hit to the head.
2) Ottawa didn’t play “better” in the third- Canes played a tight defensive period
3) Ottawa never really had control of the game- Canes dictated play from the first minute

The issue is that the Sens thought they could win by shutting down the Aho line which they have done. But they underestimated the Canes 2nd line…… I was expecting abig time center mismatch in favor of Ottawa given their size. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

The fix for the powerplay is sooooooo easy…. shoot! They're looking for plays that don't exist while there is a clear shooting lane at the net. Can't win getting 22 shots every night… however its hard to lose if you get 40 😉

i hope this is the year. i love our team but ive been a Brind'Amour fan for decades, as we've aged together and i want it for him. Top off his awesome career and anything else down the road is a bonus!

Rod looks like a man who just had to put down his dog in that interview, not the coach of a team that just went up 3-0 in a series. I got a bad feeling the Canes just lost a player to serious injury or he just found out about the death of a loved one.
Green 100% lied about Sanderson. That's WILD. Sanderson kept playing and it was an incidental hit to the head. not to mention the later hit to the head by Ottawa and then the punch to the back of a Cane's head.
