The Flyers are Starting to Play their Best Hockey & with this Momentum & as long as they Continue to Play their Game right, they have a Chance to make it to at least the 3rd Round!
I don’t feel like it’s shocking. They’re more evenly matched with Pittsburgh. If they did this against Carolina though, THAT would be impressive. Also they still have 2 wins to get and there is absolutely a non-zero chance they blow it. Do NOT count Crosby out.
The flyers have been a pleasant surprise with the state of the other teams in philly that have been letting us down. But after watching the first 2 games, i have to give skinner some applause. My fly guys would have won by 10 if skinner wasnt making some of the saves he has. So proud of the flyers and what theyve done so far. Lets hope they keep this momentum going!
Right now my favorite moment has to be that Tippet assist. That was like promo material for NHL 26, it just looked like a play that can only happen in a video game. Tippet is the IRL skill stick

The Flyers got back Tyson Forester, Rasmus Ristolinen, and added Porter Martone. If they played all year, the Flyers would have made the playoffs easily.
I do worry that if there would be any moment that may make this young group (who’s really playing very loose with the house money they’ve earned ) tight … It’d be the first playoff hockey game in 8 years that’ll be in front of a playoff hockey starved crowd in Philly tonight. If the Flyers get out of the 1st period down only 1, tied , or up I think they’ll be on the verge of sweeping Saturday night.

It's been a decade of disappointment, it's nice to finally have something to be excited for again.
I’ve been a Flyers fan almost from their inception. It’s great to see them doing and playing well. I hope it continues, but they have miles and miles to go. I want Lord Stanley to live in Philly again! Gene Hart “Let’s go Flyers and let’s go Don Earle!!!”
