  1. Can we also talk about Svech and his punches to the back of the neck of an unsuspecting player?

  2. So now we are blaming Sanderson for the head shot inflicted by Hall? Poor argument “he leaned with his head”. Hall circled around Sanderson in order to make the head the main point of contact

  3. Sure, the Sens got swept, but It wasn't exactly a total collapse every single game. A real beatdown is the Bruins losing 6-1 at home or the Oilers giving up 7 goals. The goal gap was actually small, which means defense and goaltending were solid. The Canes’ defense was just more suffocating, and the Sens were massively outgunned. The Sens are just too green.

  4. Oh holy hell it’s both of them😂. At no point in that series did it look like (or even SMELL like) the sens had a chance, and at no point was Carolina panicked.

  5. Go as Rod how the media responded when Canes were swept by Florida. A sweep is a sweep SERIES WASNT CLOSE. 🎉

  6. The Senators were so close 🙂 They did so so well 🙂 Yaaay Senators 🙂 They held Aho and Jarvis in check 🙂 The Canes had respect for them 🙂

  7. Hey Canada, canes fan here. Love ya, mean it. One question, though; why do every single one of you pronounce Martinook as MartiNUKE?

  8. Ottawa and/or Montreal should try and get Nylander out of Toronto. He would look good in red, white and blue IMHO.

  9. Reilly got 5 games for something 100 times less serious than what Greig did. 20 games minimum.

  10. Quenneville is the difference in the series. Interesting he was allowed back in the NHL just when the Ducks needed a new coach.

  11. Julian being shocked that people around the league hated the Greig sucker punch is massively confusing for me. It’s a rat move and cowardly, of course players and analysts don’t like it

  12. Carolina does deserve the win.
It wasn’t their 1st line that won it though.
Stankoven, Blake, and Hall just outclassed Ottawas second line.
Depth which they’ve been building for years really showed in this series.
As a Sens fan I’m disappointed but not super surprised.
Package Brady out for a 1st, a prospect, and a player.
He’s a good player but he’s not the leader we need.
90% chance he won’t resign anyways.

  13. Rod got clowned on for saying something similar on an even closer series against Florida in '23…

  14. Sens ran into the best team in the east round 1. They hung in even with their injuries so major props on that but, the Canadian media didn’t give Carolina enough credit to soften the blow here. Canes dominated them for nearly the entire series, never trailed and didn’t go down when Ottawa tried to beat them physically. In a few weeks when the canes are knocking on the door of playing for a cup people will change their minds on this series.
